The world of skincare can often be confusing, with expensive products and vague labels that rely on a pre-existing level of knowledge. Created as a passion project, Base is a skincare concept that aims to change that. Each product’s packaging highlights its key ingredient, using color and illustration to intuitively communicate what’s inside. The front label pairs main ingredients with simple descriptions of their benefits.

To bring the brand to life, I developed a social media presence geared toward the average skincare novice. Posts focus on ingredient spotlights and product education without any confusing jargon. Base is skincare made simple.
